Consultant, Teneo Consulting
Before joining Teneo, I studied history in first at Edinburgh, then at UPenn, during which time I took up poker, first as a hobby then a profession. Upon graduation, I decided to play full-time; I also joined a small start-up as a poker coach to other professionals.
What is the most interesting project you’ve done in the last 12 months?
I recently spent three months in the US managing a range of projects for an IT firm’s Sales organisation. Working alongside the senior leadership of a Fortune 500 company was a great learning opportunity, and the chance to travel all over America was a real bonus!
What is the best part of your job?
Hands down, my colleagues. It’s hard to overstate the value of working with exceptional people who you can trust to get things done well every time, but, more than that, the fact everyone gets along and enjoys spending time together outside work makes the job a lot of fun.
