What we look for?

Every year, we hire exceptional graduates from all backgrounds to join us as Associate Consultants. In order to take on the role as a key project team member from day one, a successful candidate will be a logical thinker with strong numerical and communication skills. They will also be enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, having demonstrated leadership, ambition, and teamwork throughout their academic, professional, or extra-curricular activities.

Applicants should have an outstanding record of academic achievement, with a 2:1 degree / 3.3 GPA or better from a leading university. We also expect at least an A-grade at GCSE / 750 SAT (or equivalent) in mathematics, while working knowledge of a major European language or Arabic is an advantage.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Online Assessment

  • CV and cover letter submission (1-2 pages each)
  • Online maths test (30mins)
  • Online Video Interview (20 mins)

1st Round Interviews

  • CV chat (30mins) – A discussion around the contents of your CV and why you have applied to Teneo
  • Market sizing (30mins) – A short logic-based exercise to test your numeracy and how you approach a problem

2nd Round Interviews

  • Business case study (45mins) – A more complex case study to test your logical structure and commercial awareness
  • Presentation to a Managing Director (45mins + 45mins preparation) – A presentation on a business problem provided on the day, requiring some data analysis and the preparation of 4-5 written slides

What we look for?

We seek individuals with an entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to work in a fast-paced culture. For Consultants, management potential and a record of outstanding academic achievement are essential, as well as a minimum of three years employment experience, preferably in one of the following fields:

  • Strategy or management consultancy
  • Internal consulting roles within a corporate environment
  • Corporate finance
  • Accountancy

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Online Assessment

1st Round Interviews

  • HR chat (30mins) – A discussion with our Head of Talent about your motivations and career aspirations
  • CV chat (30mins) – A discussion with a member of our Senior Team about your experiences and aptitude

2nd Round Interviews

  • 1 or 2 case studies (45mins each)– A business case study to test your logical, numerical, and strategic skills

3rd Round Interviews

  • Case presentation (45mins + 45mins preparation) – A presentation requiring some data analysis which you will be given time to prepare
  • Self-directed presentation (45mins) – A pre-prepared presentation on a topic of your choice to a Managing Director
  • Case structure discussion (45mins) – A review of a set of slides to discuss how you would approach a particular case
